What's Up DCY students and families?! We are hoping this page will help you find upcoming events, sign-ups, and more information all in one place! Here is a little of our heart behind youth: We strive to provide a safe place for students to come and build relationships with each other and with Christ. Our goal is for students 6th grade+ to enter and leave youth group as a Senior in High School on FIRE for Jesus, have a community built around them, and have built lifelong friendships throughout their time in DCY. We believe God has HUGE things for DCY and the best is still yet to come! We are praying for each of you EVERY day! We love you!!

Join us for FWW! DCY will have a section reserved at the front left of the auditorium.

After FWW, we will walk over to Braum's for ice cream until 8:30pm.

Bring your favorite Thanksgiving dish to share (we have about 45 people) and come ready to give thanks! Our Annual Thanksgiving Potluck is a student favorite where we eat together, give thanks, reflect on a great year, and prepare for an even better 2026. We will also be playing some fun games!

Come in your Christmas PJs ready to have a great time! We will be watching Christmas movies, drinking hot chocolate, eating Christmas goodies, and playing lots of fun Christmas games. Everyone will leave with a special gift from us to you.

This is also the last day to sign up for the Progressive Dinner!

This annual event is another student favorite! We will meet at the church at 4pm and load into vehicles. We will travel to our first of three homes where we will eat appetizers, play a game, and hear a part of the Christmas Story. We will be at each home for an hour. Then, we will head to the next home where we will eat the entree. And the final home will have dessert. After visiting our 3 host homes, we will go to Carthage to drive through the Christmas Lights and a quick stop at Central Park before heading back to the church. If you live in Carthage, we will meet you at the Nazarene Church.

ALL students who attend must have a signed permission slip on file for the year. If you are unsure if your student has one on file, please reach out!

RSVP for this event ends on Wednesday, December 10th so we can plan vehicles and let host homes know how many to prepare for.
