DCY is the youth group of Destiny Church in Joplin, MO!

Students 6th Grade through 12th Grade are welcome to join!

When do we meet? Sundays at 4:00 PM! Enter in through the back entrance of the building.

What's Up DCY students and families?! We are hoping this page will help you find upcoming events, sign-ups, and more information all in one place! Here is a little of our heart behind youth: We strive to provide a safe place for students to come and build relationships with each other and with Christ. Our goal is for students 6th grade+ to enter and leave youth group as a Senior in High School on FIRE for Jesus, have a community built around them, and have built lifelong friendships throughout their time in DCY. We believe God has HUGE things for DCY and the best is still yet to come! We are praying for each of you EVERY day! We love you!!

NO DCYouth service! DC Kids Christmas will be taking place during both morning services! Hope to see you there!

Please let Pastor Cameron or Erin know if you plan on attending the Progressive Dinner next week. We have to have a head count to make sure we have enough seats in cars and food on plates. Permissions Slips can be turned in next week still.

ITS BEGINNING TO LOOK A LOT LIKE CHRISTMAS!

Our Progressive Dinner is an extremely fun event where we take a trip to three different houses each involving one part of a meal (Appetizer, Entree, & Dessert)

These houses will be of families from DC & will be a great way for students to get to know more of the amazing DC family!

At each house, we will also be going over different important parts of the life of Jesus!

After we leave the third house, we'll be traveling to Carthage to drive through the Christmas lights!

We will meet Carthage families in Carthage, then head back to Destiny Church!

**We need a permission form signed by parents if student wants to attend**

Also, yes, we plan on finishing around 10:00 but will keep everyone updated!

2025 IS JUST AROUND THE CORNER!

We want to celebrate with YOU on everything God has done at DCY in 2024, which we believe will catapult us into 2025!

Join us for an awesome celebration, filled with games, snacks, fellowship & an all out PARTY!!

Bring your friends & lets celebrate together!

This FREE conference at Northwest Church in Bentonville is a great opportunity for students to engage in authentic worship, hear a WORD from Pastor Justin Smith (our camp speaker from 2024), and grow together at the After Party!

We will meet at the church at 4:15pm and leave by 4:30pm. The conference starts at 6pm and ends at 11pm. We will arrive back at the church by 12:30am on Saturday, January 4th. We are taking 2 - 15 passenger vans. Pastor Cameron and Erin will be driving.

All students planning to attend must have a signed parent permission slip on file. Permission slips from the Progressive Dinner will also work for this conference. Students must sign up BY January 1st - there are limited seats so sign up asap!!
